  • Cobalt
    Alloy 159®, L605, MP35N®...

  • Cobalt alloys are naturally ferromagnetic.  The crystallographic nature of cobalt alloys allow them to maintain their strength, even at higher temperatures and feature improved wear resistance and corrosion resistance than other metals. These high performance alloys are often used in aircraft engine and turbine blades applications as well as medical and dental implants.  UPM offers Cobalt in grades Alloy 159®, L605, MP35N®.
  • Nickel Alloys
    UPM offers Nickel in grades 600, 625, 718, 718 CR, 901, A286, A286 CR, Alloy 6230, Alloy X, C263, R405, Waspaloy CR®, Waspaloy® 5706, Waspaloy® 5708 and X750....

  • Nickel alloys offer a combination of corrosion resistance, strength, and metallurgical stability and weldability. Many nickel alloys offer outstanding heat resistance, making them an ideal choice for applications requiring integrity at elevated temperatures. High temperature alloys are ideal for the aerospace, oil & gas, aircraft, defense, space and power generation industries.  UPM offers Nickel in grades 600, 625, 718, 718 CR, 901, A286, A286 CR, Alloy 6230, Alloy X, C263, R405, Waspaloy CR®, Waspaloy® 5706, Waspaloy® 5708 and X750.
  • PRODEC®
    PRODEC® Type 304/304L, PRODEC® Type 316/316L...

  • United Performance Metals is the largest distributor of PRODEC® Plate in the United States. We offer PRODEC® Type 304/304L and PRODEC® Type 316/316L. PRODEC plate offers faster machining speeds, longer tool life, improved part surface quality, and lower total cost of machined parts than standard austenitic stainless steel. PRODEC means Production Economy. With advanced ladle metallurgy techniques during melting, the steel is processed for improved machinability and outstanding uniformity.  UPM offers PRODEC® in grades PRODEC® Type 304/304L, PRODEC® Type 316/316L.
  • Stainless
    15-5 PH, 17-4 PH, 17-4 PH Precision Ground, 17-4 PH Heat Treated, 17-7 PH, 301, 301 FH, 301-1/2, 301-1/4, 302, 303, 304, 304L, 305 DDQ, 316/316L, 316LS/316LVM, 317L, 321, 347, 410, 416, 422, 440C, Custom 455®, Custom 465®, Greek Ascoloy....

  • Stainless steels are a family of iron based alloys that contain a minimum of 10.5% chromium (CR). The presence of chromium creates an invisible surface film that resists oxidation and makes the material passive or corrosion resistant (stainless). There are multiple families of stainless steel which are designed for various applications and uses. Stainless grades can be further modified to meet various processing, corrosion, temperature and strength conditions.  UPM offers stainless in grades 15-5 PH, 17-4 PH, 17-4 PH Precision Ground, 17-4 PH Heat Treated, 17-7 PH, 301, 301 FH, 301-1/2, 301-1/4, 302, 303, 304, 304L, 305 DDQ, 316/316L, 316LS/316LVM, 317L, 321, 347, 410, 416, 422, 440C, Custom 455®, Custom 465®, Greek Ascoloy.
  • Titanium
    CP Grade 2, CP Grade 3, CP Grade 4, Ti-6AL-4V, Ti-6AL-4V ELI...

  • Titanium is lightweight, strong, corrosion resistant and abundant in nature. Titanium and its alloys possess tensile strengths from 30,000 psi to 200,000 psi (210-1380 MPa), which are equivalent to those strengths found in most of alloy steels. The density of titanium is only 56 percent that of steel, and its corrosion resistance compares well with that of platinum. Of all the elements in the earth’s crust, titanium is the ninth most plentiful. Titanium has a high melting point of 3135°F (1725°C). This melting point is approximately 400°F (220°C) above the melting point of steel and approximately 2000°F (1100°C) above that of aluminum.  It also has the advantage of a very thin, conductive oxide surface film, and a hard, smooth surface that limits adhesions of foreign materials.  UPM offers Titanium in grades CP Grade 2, CP Grade 3, CP Grade 4, Ti-6AL-4V, Ti-6AL-4V ELI.
